Aparna Das is an Indian film actress who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. Aparna started her career in the industry with the movie Njan Prakashan (2018), directed by Sathyan Anthikad. Actress Aparna Das Profile and Career

Aparna Das was born and brought up in Nenmara, Palakkad district, Kerala. Her parents was initially settled in Dubai later moved to Muscat. Aparna has a brother named Abhishek Das. Aparna completed her school (up to 8th standard ) in a local school in Nenmara later completed her higher education in Muscat with her parents. After BBA she was working in a private company in accounts and logistics section and along with that she took her MBA graduation.

Aparna wished to become an anchor during her childhood and acting was her dream even though she has a family with no film backgrounds. She learned Classical dance during her childhood and participated in many events in school time. After settled in Muscat with her parents she started to send emails for casting call, she got a chance to attend an audition in Kochi, but unfortunately she could not attend that because of her exams.

During her vacation with her grand parents in Palakkad she got a Message from Akhil Sathyan (son of director Sathyan Anthikad) about this film. She send an audition video to him and later she got a small role in the movie Njan Prakashan. This film lead her to another movie Manoharam, in which she played the female lead role opposite to Vineeth Sreenivasan.

Acting Career

Aparna Das made her debut with the film Njan Prakashan which was released in 2018. Aparna nailed her small character in this Sathyan Anthikad movie. Fahadh Faasil, Sreenivasan, Devika Sanjay were in the lead roles and the film and got highly positive reviews from allover. Aparna handled the character named Teenamol, in which she could share the screen space with one of her favourite actor Fahadh Faasil.

Director Anvar Sadik noticed Aparna in Njan Prakashan movie and called her for his movie Manoharam. Initially Anvar cast her for a supporting role, but later he opted Aparna for the lead character. Vineeth Sreenivasan was the male lead in this film and most part of the shot was in Nenmara, which made Aparna more comfortable. Aparna handled the character named Sreeja, a village girl. She performed well in the movie and could conquer the mind of Malayalam film viewers. The film got positive response and also performed good at box office.
