Actress Deepa Thomas Profile and Career

Deepa Thomas was born on 22 Novemer 1996 in Calicut, Kerala. She came from a family with no film background, Her father Mr. Thomas Mathew is a retired school headmaster and mother Mrs. Elsie Thomas is also a retired headmistress. She has two siblings, An elder sister named Deepthi Thomas, who is a staff nurse in Canada. She has an younger brother named Deepak. Deepa completed her schooling at St. Joseph Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School near Calicut and she was very active in sports during her school time. She completed graduation in B.SC Nursing at Baby Memorial College of Nursing.

Deepa interested in modelling and stage performances during her school time and she participated beauty pageant which conducted on her college. She quit her nursing job in Mumbai to pursue her dream in modelling. Deepa is the second runner up in Miss South India beauty pageant which held in 2019. After that she appeared in many photo shoots and different TV ads. During this time she became interest in acting and participated many film auditions.

Deepa got a chance in the movie Virus, in which she played the role of junior doctor it was a small character. She also appeared in the movies Trance(2020), Mohan Kumar Fans (2021) and Home, which made her popular among movie lovers.

Deepa Thomas entered into film industry as a junior artist with the film Virus (2019), directed by Aashiq Abu. This super hit movie has ensemble cast and in which Deepa played the role of a junior doctor. Her second film is Trance (2020), directed by Anwar Rasheed. It features Fahadh Faasil in the lead role and made a big impact on the audience by the tremendous performance by Fahad. Deepa played a small character in this movie, but she could perform and interact with her favorite actor Fahad and director Anwar Rasheed.

Her next one is Mohan Kumar Fans (2021), directed by Jis Joy. The film features Kunchako Boban, Siddique, Anarkali Nazar and Mukesh are in the lead roles. Deepa handled a small character named Brighty Aagosh Menon, which is opposite to the character Vinay Forrt. It was an interesting character and she did it well.

Deepa got the attention of the mallu viewers through the web series Rock Paper Scissors by Karikku Team. In which she performed the character Shradha, one of the lead actresses in that series. This series became trending in the social media as like other series by Karikku.
